Tune in to learn about the ecology and evolution of Southern California oaks by UCLA Ph.D. candidate, Scott O'Donnell, whose research is focused on exploring whether or not hybridization helps species respond to changes in local environmental conditions in light of our rapidly changing climate. Scott moved to Los Angeles from Pennsylvania to study oaks in 2015 and is passionate about the protection and restoration of native Southern California landscapes.
