Volunteer

Volunteering with TreePeople is fun and rewarding. Our events empower you with the support, training and tools you need to be an engine of change. Join us each week as we plant and care for trees, remove invasive species, and maintain our projects throughout Southern California.

Visit Our Parks

Imagine watching the lights of Los Angeles fade and the stars appear or walking down the trail learning something new about the natural environment (including native plants that you can use in your own garden)! Visit our parks for guided activities, in-person events, or taking a lovely hike through our local ecology.

Donate Today

TreePeople’s mission depends on generous contributions from our community. With your support TreePeople can continue to plant and care for SoCal’s urban forest. There are various ways you can help achieve our goals, including dedicating a tree.

Learn

TreePeople has nearly 50 years of leading-edge resources and education material for you to learn from and take action with. Transform your community with our handy videos, project kits and downloadable resources.

Join the Canopy, TreePeople’s Monthly Giving Program

The Canopy is a passionate and dedicated group of TreePeople supporters working to preserve and sustain our environmental mission every month. Thanks to the generous support of our Canopy members, we are able to further our educational and tree-planting efforts throughout Southern California.

For Educators

If you are an educator and looking to give your class a unique and enriching experience learning about our natural world, TreePeople offers a variety of programming for you to choose from!

Merch

Purchasing and wearing TreePeople merchandise helps spread the word of what we do! Unique items featured in our shop include our How To Plant a Tree Tee and our Native Flowers of SoCal sweatshirt. All of our merchandise is designed in-house and supports our mission of a greener and more climate-resilient future.

Teams for Trees

Our private corporate engagement events connect your team to the great outdoors working to plant and care for urban trees, restore local mountain watersheds, beautify TreePeople’s Coldwater Canyon Park and more, while lifting spirits and improving teamwork!
