How to Give and Get

TreePeople is kicking off 2015 by offering new perks to our most dedicated volunteers. Whether you’ve only volunteered with us once, or if you’re a seasoned veteran, we want to recognize the important work you do to make LA a green, livable city.

This year, if you attend five or more volunteer events we’ll award you free passes to a Moonlight Hike for you and a friend. These monthly group hikes are a fun, unique way to experience our beautiful 45-acre Coldwater Canyon Park and its surrounding trails by the light of the moon.

TreePeople Moonlight Hike
TreePeople hosts monthly Moonlight Hikes for the community to enjoy the park under the light of the moon.

There’s more ways to sport your love of trees. If you join us for 10 or more volunteer events we will gift you a “throwback” TreePeople tee in beautiful heather grey complete with our vintage logo for you to rock.

It’s easy—just leave it to us to track your attendance and we’ll let you know when you’re close to reaching a milestone. All you have to do is keep being of service with TreePeople so we can hand-in-hand lead the way to make LA a climate-resilient city. This campaign applies to all TreePeople volunteers, so bring your friends and family!

Together, we can make a difference for the future of LA.

With you:

We can care for more trees we depend on to protect us from heat, store precious rainwater in their roots and keep our soil healthy.

We can green more schools to provide shaded, sustainable play areas.

We can heal our mountain forests we need to keep LA’s air clean.

Sign up now to volunteer and help us get there.
