The history of TreePeople spans over 40 years, beginning with its teenaged founder Andy Lipkis. Since he decided to dedicate his life to saving trees and supporting the environment, TreePeople has grown to become a force for change, and its influence spans across the globe.
This tour will cover the origins of TreePeople and our beautiful Coldwater Canyon Park facility. You’ll learn all of the fun facts about our park (for example, did you know that there used to be a Fire Station on the hilltop?), sustainable solutions for a climate-friendly home, the LA watershed, our state-of-the-art nursery, and the importance of trees and our mission.
The Story of TreePeople Tour is available for anyone who wants to learn more about TreePeople and the environment around them, so don’t forget to join us for this FREE tour on the first Saturday of every month!
