Want to learn what you can do to help lessen the impact of drought at home and in your community? Come see drought-relief techniques in action while touring our beautiful park. This free, staff-led tour offers interactive learning about water conservation techniques, native plants and trees, and how to create a drought resilient future for LA.
The tour lasts approximately one hour and fifteen minutes and is wheelchair/stroller accessible.

The tour is geared for an adult audience, but all are welcome!

When and where do the tours occur?
We lead tours the first Saturday of the month at 10:00 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. at our headquarters located in Coldwater Canyon Park, 12601 Mulholland Drive, Beverly Hills, 90210. Tours start from our Environmental Learning Center - adjacent to the Parking Grove.
Do you need to sign up?
Yes! Our tours are very popular and space is limited. However, depending on the numbers of participants, we may take walk-in registrations.

Family Tour and Native Plant Exploration
What better way to spend time with your family and friends than enjoying the beautiful trails of our park? Join us for an informative and fun tour that is appropriate for the whole family. Visit the Dirt Doctor’s laboratory to learn about the magic of mulch, tour the interactive Urban Watershed Garden for a live demonstration of how rainwater flows in our city and to get tips for transforming your landscape to be drought-smart. Explore the many California native plants around the park, learn how you can grow them yourself, and plant a native tree seed to take home. All this, and more, with views of the surrounding mountains and city! Tour cost: $5 per person, 4 years and under are free.
Family Tours are held the third Sunday of every month at 10am.
