Volunteer Registration
To stay connected with TreePeople, you are welcome to register with our website. You can then:
- Choose to receive our monthly volunteer e-newsletter and other TreePeople e-newsletters
- Tell us about your volunteer interests, skills, and availability (weekdays/weekends)
- Manage your personal profile and preferences any time
- Sign up for volunteer events
To sign up for a volunteer event, each person must pre-register. Registration is a first come, first served opportunity.
All minors under the age of 18 that are attending an event without a parent must have the parental consent form (English / Spanish) completed and turned in at the event.
Carpooling
Volunteers interested in carpooling should visit the TreePeople Meetup page. All drivers and passengers in a carpool must still sign up to volunteer on our calendar and bring a completed Carpool Waiver to the event.
To see if someone is interested in carpooling, click the “Suggested” tab on TreePeople’s Meetup Page. Check to see if someone has already posted a carpooling request for the event you are signed up for or suggest a new carpool. We suggest including what date and event you are signed up for, where are coming from, and a public location where you could meet to carpool. Other volunteers will be able to see this Suggested Meetup and can comment if they are interested in carpooling. Please note that this is a public page, so use caution when releasing your personal information.
