1. Where will my tree(s) be planted? Can I choose the location?
Due to the nature of our work, we are unable to place markings or identifiers on trees nor can we tell you the exact location. We do invite all of our tree dedicators and recipients to participate in our tree planting and tree care events. Please refer to our volunteer calendar, for upcoming opportunities. We would love to see you there!

2. How much does a tree dedication cost? What does the recipient receive?
A Tree Dedication gift starts at $25 for one tree and the recipient will receive a personalized greeting card. Multiple trees can be dedicated, or for a gift of $100 a special certificate announcing a grove of trees will be sent to the recipient. Certificates can be framed in rustic recycled wood for an additional charge of $30. Please refer to our Tree Dedication catalog for a complete list of Tree Dedication options and prices. 

3. Where does my contribution go?
Tree Dedications provide funds to support TreePeople’s reforestation efforts including planting new trees and caring for trees we’ve already planted in and around Los Angeles. For more than 25 years, TreePeople’s Tree Dedication program has allowed us to plant and care for trees in mountain forests and park woodlands that have experienced devastation from fires, neglect or other natural causes. Many thousands of trees are now thriving in our region because of people like you who chose to acknowledge someone with a meaningful Tree Dedication gift.

4. Can I make a dedication for other occasions besides memorials?
Tree Dedications can be made to commemorate any occasion, including birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, graduations and many more. During Mother’s Day and the holiday season TreePeople offers a special, limited-edition tree dedication card and certificate.

5. Can I add a message to the card or certificate?
There are 2 lines available with a maximum character count of 30 per line to include your name and personal message. Suggested phrases that can be used include: With love, With Sympathy, Thinking of you, and Congratulations.

6. Do you offer electronic Tree Dedications?
TreePeople is currently developing an e-card system, but it is not available at this time. Please check back for updates.

7. Can I have the dedication mailed back to me?
If you would like the dedication mailed to you, please fill in your name and address in the recipient field and indicate in the comment box “return to me.” If the card is being sent back to you, it will come with a blank envelope for the card.

8. How long does it take for my tree dedication to be mailed? Do you mail outside of the United States?
Most orders are sent out 1-2 business days after being placed, however when order volume is high it may take 3-5 business days before your dedication is sent out. International shipping is available at no extra charge.

9. I am interested in placing a large order, is the internet the easiest way to place it?
You can order any number of tree dedications through our secure website. If you are interested in placing an order of 50 or more tree dedications; please call (818) 753-4600 x224 for volume discounts and to coordinate details.

10. What type of payment do you accept?
TreePeople accepts Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you are paying with a check or cash, please note that we do not mail out dedications until payment is received. Checks should be made payable to TreePeople and mailed to:

11. Do you offer Corporate Discounts?
