Generation Earth Technical Assistance
Generation Earth's technical assistance component gives L.A. County's middle and high school students, teachers and administrative personnel the tools they need to create an impactful campus project.
Participants focus on one of two major environmental concerns:
- the magnitude of trash on L.A. campuses or
- pollution from our schools and communities flowing to the ocean.
Generation Earth provides guidance and tailored support to schools wishing to cut campus waste by reducing and recycling or improve the condition of our watershed through a stormwater-related project or public awareness campaign. In conjunction, year-round technical assistance workshops give participants the facts about local waste and water issues, as well as steps to implement a successful project.
