Come join TreePeople's Pam Gibson as we prep bare root fruit trees for our 2013 Fruit Tree Program. Every year, TreePeople distributes free fruit trees to low-income communities in Los Angeles as part of our Fruit Tree Program. This year we will be distributing hundreds of fruit trees to the residents in the Northeast Valley. We need volunteers to help prepare the fruit trees that will be picked-up by the residents. We will be wrapping the roots in wet newspaper and storing the trees in bags, to ensure the roots stay moist until the trees are planted. We will also be handing these prepped trees to the excited residents in the Northeast Valley!
